Tonight we were at our friends' house making dinner. I put some peppers into a pan with some hot oil, not thinking that it would splatter everywhere. It did, and it got all over my wrist, but the worst thing that happened was that I tensed up my back as I backed away and my entire back went into a spasm. I have never had such bad pain in all my life. My wonderful husband went to our other friends' house and got some pain meds for me, to tide me over until he could take my prescription into the pharmacy in the morning.
All night he had to help me with everything. Push in my chair, pull out my chair, tie my shoes, help me up, etc. He has been very patient and not once has he gotten mad at me for hurting myself in the first place. Thanks, honey.
