No Lynn No Sleep

The first night after Lynn left I slept great because he wasn't there to snore, and I could take up the entire bed.  You see, the best spot to sleep on our bed is right in the middle, because it's the only spot that is still nice and firm.  Normally, we each have to sleep in our own little depressions on either side of the bed, which really are not that comfortable.  It's like sleeping in a hole.  And when you try to get out of bed to go pee in the middle of the night you have to climb out of this hole in order to get out of the bed.

So, when Lynn is gone, I always move to the middle.  It's like sleeping on a new mattress.  Well, the last two nights I really have not slept well.  In fact, I woke up at 4 in the morning this morning for absolutely no reason at all.  Wide awake!  What the heck?  I was able to go back to sleep, but I just didn't sleep well after that.  It's crazy.  I usually sleep like a baby when Lynn is gone, because of the whole better bed thing, but not this time.  Maybe I should climb back into my hole.

A little insomnia, eh? Don't know what that's like...... ;-)

Do you tell him that you usually sleep great when he's gone? I bet that makes him feel good.

That is so funny that you made this comment about the bed because I was just thinking last night about posting about the "hump" in the bed to see if everyone has it. I love laying on it when Steve gets up earlier than me :) Sorry for the lack of sleep. I hope you can catch up quickly.

Julie- that's funny. Whenever I talk about the "hump" with other people, they seem to know what I mean. Either that, or they have the hole in the middle. What would you call that? the slump? Headline: Does your bed have the hump, or the slump?
