I was just reading some blogs and making some comments when I felt a little tickle on my hand. I figured it was just dog hair, since that the the most common type of particulate floating around in my house these days. But I decided to look down to see what was gracing me with its presence, and it was a spider! Not just any spider - this was one of those jumping spiders; you know, the kind that could jump right into your mouth at any given moment?
I managed to hold it together long enough to not throw my computer across the room. I flicked the thing (it was actually only the size of my fingernail) off of my hand, and didn't see where it went. So, once the computer was safely on the floor, I proceeded to begin doing what can only be described as a Native American rain dance around my front room. I still don't know where that spider ended up, but now I'm all itchy - everywhere!

I wish I could have seen that rain dance.....
Sucks to know there's a spider somewhere in your house.
EW! I hate spiders with a passion. I feel very sorry for you.
That made me laugh. Probably becuase I have been feeling that way since we moved here. Itchy, scratchy, slapping my skin. Too many creepy crawling things around here.
You should have seen the spider in our garage (looked like a tarantual - ask Jake, I'm NOT joking). Thank goodness the one inside your house was small!!!
just reading that made me all jumpy too. gross!
Aaah, I hate that! It drives me nuts if there is a spider and it goes missing. I like to search for a long time so I can find it.
