Tag, I'm It

It appears that there is some sort of imaginary game of tag going on in the blogging world. I guess this must be similar to the emails that go around every winter that announce that you have just been hit by a snowball and you are now in a snowball fight. Perhaps one day 50 years from now, when "tagging" has become so linked with blogs, emails, and other social networks, kids will not know the origins of this cyber game they call "tag," when we used to run around the schoolyard chasing each other until at last we touched someone and yelled, "tag, you're it!" I used to eat string cheese while I played this game - it was my "energy." If I started running slow, I'd just pop some of the stringy stuff in my mouth, and voila!, I was a super speed hero!

It is so amazing the way technology changes things. In any case, here are 6 unique things about myself. And watch out, I might tag you next!

1. If I could be anything, I would be an astronaut.
2. I still sleep with my original baby blanket.
3. If I could do anything, I would walk on the moon, and sing lead in a Broadway musical.
4. I have a darkroom in my house, and I love to develop my own photography.
5. Oreos and Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies are my weakness (well, one of many weaknesses).
6. I love to build things, or put things together.

So, you still sleep with your baby blanket? Andrea does too??? Man, please tell me you don't still suck your thumb!

Oh...and...I'm totally with you on the astronaut thing! I would love to see what space is like! And...you are so lucky that you have a dark room!!! How fun to be able to see your work whenever you want!

Andrea- that's awesome. We are so alike it's funny.

Holly- I never did suck my thumb, but maybe if I had I still would. And you know, if you're looking for a unique boy's name, no one is naming their kid Bob these days...

I never sucked my thumb either. My blanket is twin size and care bears...who could go wrong? Its so comfortable and just the right amount of warm. I'm so not ashamed.

My blanket is the yellow knit one that you can still buy anywhere you go. It's small, and I just hold it next to me while I sleep. My mom and sister always said that when I got married I would have to get rid of it because my husband wouldn't put up with it. Guess who else has a blanket that he sleeps with?

Tricia's ability and fondness for putting things together has come in handy. If you feed her, she will build.

Baby blanket.....really? I don't know about that one.

I just found my baby blanket while cleaning out some boxes at my moms house. It isn't in great shape, like I remembered.

Astronaut and lead in Broadway musical?? Those two don't fit, but if you were in a musical, than at least I could watch.

Yeah, tags aren't my favorite, but it was fun to learn more about you!!!!

Kristen- very funny. But I will put things together even if you don't feed me.

Once, while on vacation in Hawaii with my parents, I left my blanket in the hotel we had been staying at, and my parents had to call the hotel and get them to find it and ship it back home for us. It was almost traumatic.
