Lynn got back from France yesterday. I'm glad he's home. Thanks to everyone who helped babysit me whilst he was away (it was the easiest trip yet). ;) He said that everywhere he went, the people said "voila, voila!" when they presented something like a meal, or gave change after a purchase. So now if you see him and he says this to you, don't be alarmed; he's just trying to bring a little bit of France home to Utah. By the way, the picture of him is in front of Notre Dame.

Did he check out the stained glass windows in there? They are amazing!
Glad he is back for ya! What an awesome building.
I didn't get a chance to go in this time...the line to get in was about 45 minutes long. Back in 2004 I went inside and took pictures, the stained-glass windows are beautiful, however, I'm a little partial to Santiago de Compostela's and Salamanca's in Spain.
I would love to go to Spain. Oh you lucky duck. One of my fave castles is in Champery...or close to it...I think it is on Lake Geneva. It is the Chillon Castle. It was SO sweet to take a tour of that one. I want to go back and take Matt.
Ooh la la! Thanks for the Chocolate too! :)
When he gave it to you did he say "voila, voila!"?
Love the battle wounds!!
Glad your hubby is home - when is he leaving next, we need to take the dogs out??? :)
This gets me excited to take Jake to Disneyland (don't they have little versions of different countries there), no seriously, Jake and I have to start small and then work our way toward Europe!!!
I believe you are thinking of Disneyworld and Epcot. That is pretty cool for sure. But...there is New Orleans Square. When are you going?
