There you are, at the comment box. You've just read a fascinating, and hilarious blog post by your favorite blogging buddy. You have a million thoughts racing through your mind of what you want to say in response. You click on the "comments" tab. Staring back at you from your computer screen you find all of the responses that you were planning on saying. Or you don't.
Do you read all of the previous comments of the readers who have commented before you? And if you do, then do you make a comment on their comments? Or do you type in your response to the original post without thought of what anyone else has said, and then go on your merry way?

I usually read through the comments. Although, some bloggers receive so many comments, there's just no way. So I skim.
It kinda seems dumb to repeat a comment that's already been said. The least you can do is say 'ditto'.
Good point! I kind of do everything. I'd say it's a case by case scenario. By the way, I think you are fun, funny, and I love ya!!!
I try to read through them, too. And I absolutely hate it when someone else has taken my well thought out, witty comment. CURSES!
I just type whatever I want, then if I have time I read the other comments. Maybe my comments would be better if I fed off of others, but for the most part I just type whatever! I guess even this comment is a good example of that! You are so funny, I would never even think of something like this!!!
Sometimes I type something and then see that someone else already said that but its too late. So, sometimes I read them and sometimes I don't until after I say what I want.
I usually read them, unles there are a bazillion.
If I'm stumped on how to respond, I'll read the other comments. Most of the time I don't care what anyone else has said:o)
I write what I was thinking about saying before I forget it. Then I go back and skim the comments to make sure I'm not an idiot. It's not a foolproof system, sometimes I look like an idiot anyway!
