Okay I admit it - I ate the cookies...
Over the weekend Tricia wasn't feeling very well, in fact she puked Sunday morning while I was in the other room on the phone...wish I could have been there to hold her hair back ;). Our neighor, who is a nurse, has become Tricia's go-to-nurse for everything - a cut on the finger, wipe out on the scooter, etc. Personally I think she likes the extra attention, especially when I don't seem to give enough during those times...this is going somewhere I promise.
True to form, Tricia calls her personal nurse and gets sympathy and a few instructions (which she followed step-by-step). Later that afternoon the same nurse delivered soup to our home for poor-old-sick-Tricia, which I enjoyed tremendously - it was delicious.
So, Monday rolls around and I'm feeling pretty guilty not reciprocating this fine gesture (this was after I finished off another bowl of soup for lunch). After I got home from work I decided to make cookies for the soup-givers and others, since Tricia thinks I need to lose some weight (I did save a few for us though). I ended up making two plates: 1. for the soup-givers and 2. for our other friends/neighbors who claimed that the last batch I made was awesome. The soup-givers got their plate, but I couldn't get a hold of our other friends.
Here is the confession: since they didn't answer their phone, and since I'd polished off the ones I kept for Tricia and I - I ate the 2nd plate...in fact I just had the last two for my lunch dessert. At least they lasted until Thursday, right? Maybe I should make some more? Man I make good cookies!!

I wouldn't complain if you made me some cookies. Just so you know.
I echo Andrea.
Be careful what you wish for.
I've so done that before! I'm just impressed that you made the cookies! My husband is not much of a cook (good thing I love cooking, we're a great match!) and I don't think he knows how to make cookies. Way to go!
I hope Zandra reads this. And now you have to make cookies for four more people!
This is another perfect example of how thoughtful Lynn is and how not thoughtful I am. He made cookies to thank our neighbor for taking care of me! I didn't do anything to say thanks! I'm so rotten!
I want my cookies!!!
