Tablets or Caplets?

Have you ever been confused by which is which? Do I want the tablets or do I want the caplets? bought a bottle of Vitamin C pills the other day, which cost $8, by the way, and of course, the bottle is not see-through. So I can't tell whether I was getting the long, oval-shaped pills or the round pills. I have a hard enough time swallowing pills as it is, but then to try to swallow a round pill... I usually gag.

Anyway, I looked at the picture on some other bottles to see what I thought I was getting. Apparently I either picked up the wrong thing, or different companies call their pills by different names. I thought I was getting something that looked like this:

I thought these were called tablets, because another bottle said tablets and had a picture of something like this. So I picked up a bottle of 300 tablets of Vitamin C. Only, when I opened my bottle, my pills looked more like this:

So apparently, caplets are the long, oval-shaped pills and tablets are the round ones. Even as I write this, I have to keep looking at my pill bottle to see if I'm getting it right.

So now, in order to help me swallow, I have to use one of these:

Fun stuff, huh?

First, I'm glad your dogs did so well at day care, but frankly, I'm not surprised. They are awesome and so well trained, unlike our own dog, which I am POSITIVE would not do well. I'm glad you've found a place to let them stay if you ever go somewhere. I'd offer (especially since they are two of just a few dogs that Dwight gets along with) but I think they'd go crazy in our small little place, and I'd probably go crazy too (one dog is hard enough for me:). Anyway, now that it is warming up, let me know when you're going to the park next!!

Oh yeah, the pills... I don't have a hard time with them, but I've heard that the best pills for your body (at least the ones that are most effective and safe) are the natural ones. Not the plastic coated or whatever ones... Okay, I guess I'll have to explain this in person. I just re-read what I wrote and it doesn't make much sense. :)

I prefer caplets (or the long oval ones) because I too have a hard time swallowing round shaped pills. One trick that works for me is I take my pills with soda instead of water...someone once gave me that as a suggestion and it actually really works well. I used to gag all the time and now I do so much better.
