- If you want others to know you are Mormon wear a BYU hat. I decided to wear my BYU hat during my flight to Spain and had a couple people mention it. Person #1 - "Go Cougs!!" (as we were boarding the plane. Person #2 - "You from Newport Beach?" Me - "Ah, no sir I'm from Salt Lake City." Person #2 - "Oh, I have some friends from Newport Beach that are Mormon and wondered if you were from there too." While waiting for our baggage - I guess to this guy all Mormons are from Newport Beach.
- Baggage Claim is tough on the emotions - I swear that the Madrid airport is the slowest airport in the world to get you your luggage. It's bad enough that only 4 flights arrived at the same time, but they put us on the same baggage carousel too (all 4 flights!!). I guess the other dozen or so didn't work. It's tough to watch and wait for your bag - you see a green suitcase and you get excited only to see someone happily snatch it up - guess they had a green suitcase too. 45 minutes later I was on my way.
- If you are taking a taxi make sure you have the specific address - I had the street address where I was supposed to pick up my car (Church offices in Madrid), but not the specific office number - I guessing the taxi driver thought I was an idiot, but I found it.
- GPS systems rock! - so long are the days of maps and trying to figure out which autovia or street to take. Now all you have to do is follow directions, which can sometimes be more difficult than you think, especially for a man.
1. Ayllón, Segovia (on my way to El Burgo de Osma)
2. El Burgo de Osma - some silly street
3. El Burgo de Osma - Castle Ruins

Wow, Lynn, sounds like you are having an adventure already. The pictures are beautiful.
You missed a great episode of Lost last night. I'm sure Tricia will fill you in. So we all decided that we are going to re-watch ALL of the previous seasons of Lost while we wait for the new season- doesn't that sound like fun! :)
I guess you'll have to wait and see what I mean about Jacob and Esau.
