Timeline from my Perspective

  • A million years ago... started getting shots and taking pills to prepare for the embryo transfer (thanks Erin for all of those shots)
  • A thousand years ago... started puking from the morning sickness
  • A hundred years ago... got blood clots and added two new shots each day for the blood thinners, but finally ended the other shots (it seems I will go through the entire pregnancy sticking myself with sharp pointy things)
I am very grateful to be pregnant, and I'm grateful to know that it's because I have a growing baby inside of me that I'm sick, but I will be really grateful when the nausea goes away! My lungs are slowly getting stronger each day, which helps a lot with feeling better, too. Thanks for all of the prayers and thoughts. Lynn enjoys the dinners he's been getting - I still can't eat much other than soup. Thanks to everyone for those, too.

That is so true! I can't imagine doing all that blood clot stuff on top of the nausea! Good luck, and I hope you get feeling better soon!

Loved the timelines (both of them!). We're all praying for you. I wish I could offer more help than that at this point, but I haven't even made a real meal for my own family yet since Charlie was born! Once I get my act (and my strength) together, I'll be making some soup for the Turners!

Call me with your soup order. You can even give me a recipe card if you want :) Seriously- what day?

Well, we all know I can't cook. But Bajios is not too far away.....

But seriously, let me know if there's anything else I can do.

by soup, I meant Lipton Noodle soup. Nothing fancy.

Ok...I've been meaning to get over here and catch up on you...

I am SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOU! Ok, and now that I've said that I am totally crying for you too....I know how scary a high risk pregnancy can be.

I'm sorry you are so morning sick as well. Has your doctor given you any remedies? For me taking a Vit B6 tab (50mg) 3-4 times a day, and anything with ginger in it helped. I hope the morning sickenss will waine too.

This is such great news! you and Lynne deserve this!
