SKUNK!

I keep the bathroom window open - something I'll be rethinking from now on. I woke up at around 10:30pm (I go to bed early these days) to the smell of skunk! Lynn closed the window for me, but it was too late. The smell had already permeated the entire bedroom. I tried sleeping with kleenex stuck in my nostrils, but my mouth kept drying out and I had a tough time breathing that way. Plus, the smell managed to get through the kleenex anyway.

At 4am I finally went into the other bedroom, where Lynn has been sleeping. It was hard to get used to sleeping in the same bed again, but it was much better than continuing to smell the terrible skunk odor!

Now, this morning, after carefully checking the outside air for smelliness, I opened all the windows in the house in order to air it out. I hope it all disappears soon. I think my nostrils are lined with skunk smell right now.

Maybe Lynn planted the skunk so he could cuddle.

Tricia kicked me out of bed about the same time she started feeling sick...that and I don't like to be right next to her when she pukes (which was every morning for about 8 weeks).
Cuddling? What's cuddling?

We have similar problems with skunks in our yard...oh so delightful at midnight.

As for sleeping in seperate beds, we had to do this about month 4 1/2. I needed room to place pillows all around my ever expanding belly, and eventually there was no more room for my husband. Even after the baby was born I slept in his room for about a month with him. Now I'm back in there because he's being a pill and likes to scream all night....so it goes. What I am thankful for is that extra bed though, it's saved our cake more times that I can count!

I totally smelled the skunk that night! But, I'm kind of stuffed up due to a cold and end of pregancy, so it didn't bother me as much.
