So, I've know about this show for a while, but now it's finally going to air. In late March NBC is going to air about 7-8 shows about genealogy...no, I'm serious genealogy!
The idea is to follow some celebrities around while they learn about their family history. Ancesty.com hopes that it will expand the genealogy/family history market, but we'll see. I'm curious if I'll be the only one watching :)
Some notes from NBC's website:
"...n addition, the new alternative series "Who Do You Think You Are?" from Lisa Kudrow will premiere Friday, March 5 (8-9 p.m. ET) and the new game show "Minute to Win It" joins the lineup on Sunday, March 14 (8-9 p.m. ET). Also, "Friday Night Lights" will begin a new broadcast season on NBC on Fridays (8-9 p.m. ET) starting April 30 after "Who Do You Think You Are?" concludes its run."
Hmm...I wonder if it will be back for a longer second season?

Actually it sounds like a pretty interesting show.
I bet it could beat Jay Leno!!
I crack myself up.
Thanks for the head's up. I'll watch for it!
Sounds like it could be good. I watched a show (can't remember what channel) about tracing celeb's families. The episode i caught they did jamie lee fox... totally fascinating. And I'm not being sarcastic. His family was full of interesting stories, as I'm sure everyone's is.
Ok, It was jamie foxx, not sure why I typed lee in there (maybe because I'm an idiot).
