This is a fabulous explanation of our government, Tricia! And what a stern warning from going too far, and getting into the "grassroots" movements.
Hmmm. Is this a foreshadowing of what is to come? Food for thought (a very scary thought).It's sad that 99.9% of our population think we live in a democracy, when it is actually a Republic!! Another fruit of our failed education system.
Thanks for sharing. I really do think that every American needs to understand the difference between a democracy and a republic. It makes you look at the government in a whole new way.
