Sunday - I went to church in Bilbao, Spain where a member of our church (big genealogist) offered me a database of 1.5 million baptisms for one entire diocese. This has taken him over 20 years to do - truly a labor of love. From Bilbao I drove to Llanes (see pic), then onto Oviedo.
Monday - Spent 8 hours in the historical archive (after I fell down some stairs in my hotel). Pretty big book, huh? - good thing it had an index :)
Tuesday - Spent the morning researching in Oviedo, then drove for 4 hours to Salamanca (see pic)
Hope all is well back home - thanks for taking care of Tricia while I'm away.

So at first I thought this was written by Tricia and I was like "You fell down some stairs?!" But it's just Lynn. ;-) Just kidding; I still care. I don't think I want to even ask how that happened. Hope there's no battle wounds.
At least someone cares...I smashed my nose and lip - I walked around with a beak for 3 days. I have a bruise on my hip the size of a baseball, and 3 cuts on my hands. Note to all: if you are going down a flight of stairs in unfamiliar hotel, make sure the lights are on and that you don't miss 3 steps!
